Ok, another fresh start :). Mowing the lawn is like riding a pony at a slow pace, and if I move off the seat, it stops! :)
Dwindled down most of the bread products, still have the poppyseed muffins I made with dried blueberries and dried cranberries, they're great for a sweet snack; and the soft taco size flour tortillas, which are great for quesadilla lunches (I always add lettuce and salsa).
It's alot cooler this week, will be in the mid to upper 80's with lows in the 60's, which won't be as draining. Very smoky out there though, with wildfires buring north and south.
I will start doing my stretches every morning this week again and take my vity's daily.

Yeah, not doing well. I know weight will fluctuate 1-2 lbs per day, and +- 5lbs a week, but it seems to be on the rise again. Looking in the mirror is disgusting. This heat is draining, but i am drinking more water, have to and want to, to survive in 110 degrees, and it's not even August yet! Like the Humana commercial states"a body in motion, stays in motion; a body at rest, stays at rest." But how does one get over the hump? My problem is not overeating, or eating 'bad' foods; it's the lack of activity, and the timing, and of course, not enough fruits n' veggies. :) It's getting caught up in the 'what if's' and 'what about that' in life that have gotten me down.
Today I had coffee, a few small bites of leftover cold rotisserie chicken, for breaky; then Subway 1/2 cold cut, root beer no ice, for lunch, then for supper, salad with balsamic vinegrette dressing, and leftover mac salad; oh and the cookies from the Subway combo for snacks tonight :). That's not too terribly bad. Oh when I got home at 11 this morning, took vitamins, with glass of V8 Fusion blueberry pomegranite. :) There's my fruits n' veggies :). Oi vey... tomorrow's another day...

gaining 2.1 lb a week

Well, I've been thinking... :), the time of the day I feel my best, and have the most energy is when I get done with my morning shift, and I zone home by 11. Although, as of late, my morning routine consists of coffee, let the cats out, meditate, then off to work. I've fallen back into my no breakfast habit. I know that's not good :(, but i bring a Clif Mountain Mix bar with me for a shot of protein, and a bottle of water. Working a split shift is hard... challenging to schedule everything into so few hours, then back to work at 4.
Bleeping laptop keyboard just bleeped my 2nd attempt at this paragraph! so once again... I wrote in red lipstick on my bathroom mirror: "Think of the results if you DON'T!" Then I crossed out "think of" and wrote "LOOK at"! :D Tomorrow's a new HOT day :D!

Tomorrow is a new beginning! And of course when I wake up, the fresh start begins! :)
I've been somewhat depressed lately; my focus is off because of the uncertainties in my life. I got on the scale yesterday, and well, there's the physical result of depression, besides stress eating. I've been too depressed to journal and didn't want to see the great job everyone else is doing.
But it is nice to know, I'm not alone, and it's one foot in front of the other. I've been trying to dwindle down the bread and wheat products, as they are my weakness. And since the HOT weather is here, (was 107 yesterday, 100 day b4, and will be in the 100's this weekend) it's prime time to have fresh fruits and some vegies, and cool things, lots of salads. funny, i can make good healthy meals for my consumers (I'm a care aide), but I'll be darned if I can force myself to make and eat it! :)
