Hi Fat Secret gang! I finally started losing again! I am finishing up an 86 hour fast and yesterday I had a cool experience - I did an infrared sauna. It is such a more gentle heat than a regular sauna! It was 130 degrees and it doesn't burn out your lungs like a regular dry sauna. You just sit there and sweat out toxins. I did it because I hadn't lost weight since I had that coronavirus shot over a week ago. So that's why the 3 day fast and sauna. Plus I went to the gym a few times, walking 30 minutes on the treadmill.
I'm so happy I'm in the 280s now! Hurray!

Hi everyone! I'm kind of stuck. I'm still sticking to the program! You have to trust the process. It's probably just water weight or body just healing. I could be losing inches.

Day 2 on no Diet Coke was brutal. LOL UGH! My hunger was up and I kept wanting to break my fast. I hung in there though! My insulin needs are almost gone. I took some last night but I took too much and my bs went low (not dangerously low - 61) at 1 AM. Luckily it wakes me up and I drank some milk to boost it (as recommended by Dr. Rob Cywes on YouTube).
Dr. Rob Cywes is great to watch on YouTube. He calls himself the "carb addiction doc" and his videos are very short and to the point.
So technically my fast was broken at about 33 hours with the milk but I will not eat until 11 still.

Hi everybody! Happy March! OK so I gained a tad but I'm not worried b/c I just came off a 42 hour fast so it can't be a real gain. I lost 18 pounds in February! My goal for March is 13 pounds. I realize this is aggressive but at my weight I can do it. I'm sure after I lose 100 pounds the weight loss will slow down.
This month I am concentrating on eating foods that don't upset my stomach after I break a fast. Seems like eggs, dairy, and nuts are out for now. I am going to break my fast with a protein shake, then for dinner try tomato and cucumber salad and chicken. If I'm still hungry I will eat some veggies. I will use olive oil as my healthy fat.
I joined a challenge to give up a vice during March. Of course I picked Diet Coke. I have been cutting down on Diet Coke for a month now but I think it will still be hard to do!
What are your goals for March? Does anyone else out there Fast?
