I have to say, it IS encouraging to see the scale continuing to show forward progress (even though it's just itty bitty progress). I found my new favorite snack. Pumpkin Pie smoothie! OMG it is so good! Made with 8oz Almond/Coconut milk and 1/4c pumpkin puree and a packet of stevia sweetener (a dash of nutmeg and cinnamon). At 2.0 net carbs and 3.5g fiber, it's a nice little snack to have following my morning walk. Hope everyone is having a great week....can't wait for spring!!!!!!!

So, after loading in my foods for the day, I found my percentages are not QUITE right. They're close though. A little tweaking and fine tuning and I should see a HUGE boost to my metabolism. I will struggle with adding enough fats to my diet as it seems to go against everything I have ever learned about healthy eating. But this old dog WILL learn new tricks! I am 110% fully committed to this program and will NOT fail! I am excited to use my new kitchen scale:)

I started Atkins 3 days ago on Sat March 1st. I began at 264.2 lbs. I have decided to fully commit to this lifestyle due to family health concerns and my overall wellbeing. In the 3 days I have been following the program, I have lost 3 lbs. HOORAY!
