Whoohoo. an unexpected loss after cake and pizza last week. I am doing some weights, trying to get the extra STUBBORN inch OFF MY STOMACH. I don't care what I weigh. I just want my clothes to fit, lol. I think it's menopausal shift of fat storage. It went from my bottom to my tummy. Who'd of thought 🤔 💪 Then again, my extra stomach could be from all the extra skin. It looks like a Sharpe dogs face 🐶
Weigh-in:
112.6 lb
lost so far:
117.4 lb
still to go:
2.6 lb
Diet followed reasonably well

A little burnt but good. I haven't used my old pressure cooker in a while. I forgot how much water I was suppose to use. Next time, I'll make sure I use more.

I cheat a few times a year, and I pay for it! I'm sharing my small story to hopefully motivate someone struggling. I just want everyone to know you have to keep fighting to win! To be clear, i don't struggle when I stick to my WOE, but 2x a year, i usually get a big fat reminder to stick to it! Anyone whose struggles with their weight can relate. I went from 113.5 to 121 back to 113 in one week. It ain't EZ loosing weight or maintaining. I had lots of cake, ice cream and pizza. I went into a 3 day coma. Being in ketosis really helps me keep my head on straight and clear. I had a bad brain fog hanging over me for about 5 days till I got back into ketosis again. Keto/ carnivore really helps depression, inflammation and pain. My knee started aching too. I went from 113.5 to 121 over night. That's a LOT OF WATER / inflammation. It took me a week of hard work and mental gymnastics to get back to feeling better and getting rid of all the inflammation. I really wanted to fall back and have more cake. Being in a sleep coma when you don't sleep well at first feels really good. Then depression and frustration sets in quickly. Maintenance is hard. I just need to keep doing what I did to lose the weight over the last year and a half. The more I eat, the more I want. I need to keep my meal sizes smaller and have my "I'm hungry" snacks ready, like sliced meat, yogurt, cheese or beef jerky. This is a mind game. It's not ez. Time to walk da doggie!

Reverse sear NY Strip. Bake at 200 for 30 min.pepper crust, Internal was 120. Sear for 2 min each side with butter rosemary and garlic. Next time I'll pull at internal temp 115 , maybe 20-25 min. This is a great way to consistantly get a perfect steak!

this is gonna sound gross, but it was actually pretty good. i had ground up cooked chicken I needed to use. I made a strawberry smoothie with it 🤣 3 strawberries 🍓, 2 oz chicken, 2 T heavy cream, 1/2 scoop of isopure, and a little stevia. NOT BAD! It just needed a few more strawberries and a whole scoop of protein powder. Just for flavor. I do not rely on that for my protein. so, very cool 😎 🧋
