😱 Disappointed in myself but not at all surprised. We have had nonstop visitors for over a month and still more to come so I have eaten and drunk to my hearts content with the inevitable consequences.
I need to try and have more self restraint as I'm not happy or comfortable being heavier and I really don't feel that good physically, bloated, lethargic, and my fibromyalgia has not been good.
It's so difficult when you are the host and trying to make sure everyone has enough nice tasty food and drink to keep them happy and not indulge yourself. I must confess to being a bit of a 'feeder' as I love cooking and seeing people enjoying my food.
Normality won't return until January when we have a lull in visitors. I think the only way forward, so my guests don't realise I'm worried about my weight is to drink less alcohol and have much smaller portions.
4 days until the next entertaining begins so a little bit of time to eat more sensibly 😉

Well only a little loss this week which is good because I have had a few days that have been a bit indulgent but lots of fun (more happy, heavy memories).
I'm trying to be more positive about being 'healthy'. Instead of feeling deprived about not eating everything I see but taking time to enjoy what I do eat, fresh and flavorful and occasionally having real treats but not just gobbling it up without a thought but really savouring it. My mindset of exercise as a waste of time and boring is slowly shifting. My husband is not to well at the moment and a little bit more demanding so my time out walking is precious, it's only an hour but vital for my physical and mental wellbeing I'm looking around me when I'm out walking, noticing the beauty and occasionally stopping to take everything in and when I'm on my electric bike I'm enjoying the wind in my hair, noticing the smells (not always pleasant though) and seeing things from a slightly more elevated position.
Hopefully next week will be a good one for everyone 😘
