Another good week, it was all about the walking again. Minimum 1.5 miles a day actively walking for exercise, sometimes up to 3 miles a day as I get ready for the 5K on April 12. My Fitbit registers all walking, and that is going well too - though I still think it's too sensitive. I'm going to get a cheap pedometer this week and compare the two. I'm also down to only 27 Points a day, which is difficult. I'm earning Points from the ActiveLink, so that will help, but I can't eat too many of them. Hope things are going well for all of you too !! Keep the faith !!!

I had a nice weekend with my folks, but BOY is it hard to eat right at their house. I took a lot of the things I normally eat with me, but then there's still her good cooking. I splurged Sunday. It's not reflective on the scale (yet) so I'm increasing the walking this week to counteract all the calories. Mom also has an old elliptical machine that I tried for about 15 minutes, that's a hard machine when you are uncoordinated. So I really settled for walking "M" shaped laps as fast as I could in their basement for about 45 minutes (It's a weird layout) and then booked my hiney to Curves this morning plus 2 miles on the track. Son has a drs appointment to start allergy shots today so I'm off work, and I'm going back to the track tonight, weather permitting. Thankfully Friday is a ways off !!!! Hope everyone has a good day today !!!

Need to retake my photo - the "during" side of the profile photo is 17 pounds ago (Christmas). I think I'll wait until I hit 190 soon. No bikini photo, though !!!! :D

Feeling very good about the -0.8 (almost a pound) since I am really walking and walking and walking.....I am building good lean muscle and it is showing in the way my clothes are fitting, just after two weeks of committing to a minimum of 1.5 miles a day. I worked out at Curves only twice this week, such a busy week at work; that is also helping with the muscle, but it's really really really all about the walking I am doing. I earned a new all-time high of 45 WW Activity Points on my tracker this week due to all the walking and movement. Hit my 100% 6 of 7 days. I consumed 16 of those Point, so went over Points a few extra days and under one or two. I am energized and look forward to walking. Feeling good !!!

A good quote from one of the Success Stories people on the Weight Watchers site:
Look at your average weight loss over a period of a month rather than week to week. It helps keep frustration at bay.
I like this !! Good thing to remember if we ever get down about our progress!!!
Tomorrow is weigh-in day for me, I'm hoping for a maintain this time !! :D
But boy have I been busy !!! Walked at least 1.5 miles every day "on purpose" (except for Sunday which was a weather wash-out) and my Fitbit is recording 4-5 a day total with all the walking I do at work each day, this since I put it on Monday.
Feeling great and always looking forward to the next time I can go walk. I know I am building muscle, so the scale numbers will reflect that. And that's OK !!!
I signed up for my first 5K (3.1 miles) on April 12, The Color Run. I'll be walking it. And it's going to be a blast !!!!
