Well, I'm up a half pound which isn't as bad as I thought. Because my birthday is on Monday, people everywhere whom I've not seen for some time are looking to celebrate with me! lol Actually, though, I followed my plan pretty well. I only ate a small cupcake on Thursday.

I've changed my exercise DVDs too, as the ones I have been using were getting incredibly boring. The new ones are "The Firm" and are short: 20 min, very high intensity, rather than slow and steady. Hopefully this means that I will exercise for a shorter time period, while being more efficient. Got to keep an eye on things though; being in menopause has sometimes sent me all over the scales for no reason whatsoever. It may be that 20 mins is not enough exercise for me. They have recommended 3 times a week. I am doing the set 5 times a week.

Oh, and I measured to see if the new exercises will ultimately make a difference. I'd LOVE to have a waistline for the first time in my life. They "say" one can lose up to 15lbs in a month; however, I'm sure that's for a 20 or 30 something, not necessarily a 54 year old, lol!
