Hello.
I am working on getting fitter and healthier by eating primarily whole foods (lots of veggies and fruit), limited meat and diary, and exercising. I've done LCHF with success in the past but for me just missing my veggies and fruit too much so I'm working on getting back to a more Mediterranean lifestyle 80+% of the time coupled with calorie counting and fasting. This way of eating for me just seems to work for me and is when I am happiest. I do regular bloodwork (3-4 times a year) and am extremely lucky that so far I have no major medical reasons which govern the way I should to eat. If at all possible, I believe in life balance so allowing myself limited special times without guilt is important to me. I'm married with 4 adult children. My family is the most important thing to me and I love them with all my heart. I am extremely passionate about horses and have been my entire life. I love all equestrian disciplines (english, western, driving, etc), but I've ridden competitively in the high amateur jumpers (up to 4'3", 1.3m). I sure would love to get back to that!!!! So....I need to get this body back there. :) Hope everyone enjoys their journey!
