I feel happy today 🙂 Granddaughters joining us after school to share a meal. Hubby added pork roast to the crockpot and I'm salivating just thinking about it 😆 Doing 18:6 now through the weekend with food logging and portion control. I plotted my fasts and feasts now through the holidays. Feasts include a little get together for my birthday next month, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a BBQ road trip in January.

Yes! Back to baseline 🙂 Doing 16:8 today, tomorrow, and Sunday with food logging and portion control keeping kcal at or under maintenance. Birthday celebration tomorrow afternoon including a measured dessert. Will resume fasting on Sunday after dinner. Planning to fast for 3-4 days, depending on progress.

It's nice to see ADF bringing results. Plan to fast another day or two and recapture my prevacation weight. Today is Day 8. It's been tough to do longer fasts since returning home. I was doing weekly 84s fairly easily, and my longest fast since Aug 13 is 62h because I just could not tolerate a longer fast. I really hate suffering for want of food. Yesterday was pretty easy. I might be back in the saddle.

Happy with my food choices yesterday. Breaking fast resulted in only 0.6 lb rebound. Am definitely seeing wheat as an obstacle to weight loss. I have 134 lb of fat to lose and opting against the hamburger and bratwurst buns is an easy adjustment. So grateful for the invention of cottage cheese. What a great way to bump up the protein without cooking anything.

So close. Still, am breaking fast today and starting back fasting tomorrow. Watched "My 600 lb Life" last night. WLS really is life saving for some people. "Protein, protein, protein. Build your meals around protein. Eat your protein first." Good advice all around.
