Ok, this is not a one day weight loss. Because I just came back yesterday and this app will not allow you to post date weights I had to enter the weight when I got back on track which was about 3.9.19. SO this weight loss is for about 1.5 weeks.
Still, it is good to know that I AM back on track. I've made a few changes for now. For one, I am downsizing my goals to mini goals. This past week and for the upcoming week or so I'm focusing on eating healthy and having a good 14 hours between my evening meal and the next meal. So my last eating for instance was last night at about 10:15 and I will eat again about 12:30 or so. I'm building up my fasting time. The next goal, (next week or so) will be to stop eating by 9:00 pm, and then gradually up it until I'm back at 7pm where I was last fall.
Also, please be warned, when you enter your weight loss and it tells you based on your weight loss FOR THAT WEEK how long it will take you to reach goal, pay no attention!!! Focusing on a time period for weight loss is a great way to sabotage yourself when you don't perform according to an artificial schedule. It will take as long as it takes. I'm here for the long haul, and I know that eventually I will make my goal, but I'm not going to set myself up by focusing on a date or a time span. My over all goal is FEELING GOOD, and when I'm eating right and getting a bit of exercise and sleeping well, that happens.

Haven't been here for a while had a rocky holiday and Jan-Feb, but back on track and even lost a bit. I did learn that I'm in this for the long haul and happy that at least I'm going down, if very slowly.

Hmmm. It feels weird to lose weight 2 weeks in a row! But I'm eating well, not hungry and exercising more. I'm not complaining!

losing 1.8 lb a week

Just to let y'all know, I've found a better app for calculating my macro's and progress, but I'm still at the program! Basically nothing has changed in my eating except that I've lowered my protein requirements to about 4 oz per day. For my 73 years that seems to work fine, and anything higher stops my weight loss. Also I've added some electrolyte powders, and so far find them helpful in boosting my energy and regulating my system.
I've just lost another couple of pounds, and true to form I seem to go several weeks with only minimal loss, but some measurement decreases, and then the weight drops in one to two days, and then stops again to "re-adjust" This is apparently the weigh my body handles this eating plan.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
