Started at 238 pounds at 5’5” and will get down to +/-135 (140 maintenance).
I lost over 40 pounds (217-175) in 3 months 6 years ago but I restricted too much (~1000 kcal/day) and gained it all back in two years plus more. I also developed Binge Eating Disorder (BED) because of it. I still struggle but I have learned to forgive myself and move forward.
I eat mostly plant based and try to keep my protein intake between 60-80g and eat a good amount of healthy fats. I feel better eating this way and it helps me control my binging.
