DIET
This was a roller-coaster of a month. Not only was Thanksgiving dinner heavy, but I was out of the country and unable to eat my regular healthy meals. I literally ate what my hosts provided to me and whatever I found around me. Sigh... After coming back home, and struggling with wanting sugar all the time, I finally got my numbers back down to regular levels (1400-1500 calories a day), but it has been tough. My diet schedule is not ideal. I am late to dinner, late to almost every meal, and it's affecting my sleep schedule. I am NOT frustrated with this issue, however. I am practicing patience. I've been doing this too long to let myself get emotional over small set backs. It's a marathon, not a race.
FITNESS
Check out my monthly calendar. The trip out of the country meant that I didn't work out for almost half of the month. Even after coming back to the states, I was lethargic for quite some time. I had days where I didn't work out at all when I came back Thanksgiving week. I am slowly getting back on fitness calendar. I am hopeful that I will go back to working out almost every day this December.
NUMBERS
I shot back up to 160 when I traveled out of the country. There, I had a lot of sweet bread, coffee with sugar, and heavy meals. Since I've been eating well and working out since coming back, I'm assuming that I am now at 159 or maybe even back to 158. Let's see what the monthly numbers say...
Last month
November 2017
Weight 158 lbs
Body Fat 39 %
This month
December 2017
Weight 158 lbs
Body Fat 38 %
SUCCESS!! I gained 2 pounds of vacation weight, but lost them both, just in time for my monthly weigh in! I am very happy about this, ya'll. Like seriously happy about this. And how is it that I lost 1 % of body fat given all I ate? Maybe it was the consistent cardio? Who knows, but I feel even more motivated now.
December is going to be good. <3
