Woke at 201.0, same as yesterday. This is after a big eating 2200 calorie day but one that included six miles of walking. Kept the net carbs to 36 grams, too. I am starting to wonder if my hospital time has reset my metabolism to start eating a bit more. Certainly, my resting heart rate has not returned to the 40s... it's stubbornly in the 60s. Maybe I'm burning more calories as a result? Time for research... UPDATE: Walked a total of six miles again today (although somehow the Fitbit got a glitch and credited me with 10)! Denise made a marvelous sauerbraten (beef roast with red cabbage) dish tonight and it was too good for only one serving. Going to push my luck one more day with a calorie total of 1994. Let’s see if I have to pay at weigh in time.
