Well would ya look at that! Weighed in three different times to be sure that, yes indeed, I am finally out of the 200's. Less than thirty pounds away from my summer goal. Feeling great about my diet, workouts, and results.
It's been a busy weekend. I worked Friday, then had clinical Saturday and Sunday. Weekend clinical starts bright and early at 6 am, so getting to sleep in until 6:30 during the work week feels luxurious. I got to spend half a day in the emergency room yesterday so that was an interesting change. Usually I am on the recovery/ transitional care floor. My instructor gave me my midterm review and she asked me if I was considering continuing my education after receiving my LPN, she recommended that I go for a BSN and said that she thought I would do exceptionally well. I'm just trying to get through this lol, one step at a time. My instructors always seem to have so much faith in me. She asked me what I thought my biggest weakness was, and in all honesty I responded that I need to build confidence as I still have a lot of self-doubt and still need that reassurance.
My initial plan was to get to the gym today but i am so pooped from the weekend that I'm going to postpone that trip to tomorrow. I work this evening and until then I have plenty of housework to keep me busy.
