Hey Cindysfolly, been there done that I find at my age its just not enough to make good food choices I have to exercise as well, I do 6 days per week and continually try to increase my intensity. I've added strength training this time which I do 3 days a week, which is great because I have a home program that I do twice a week in the living room with my favourite shows on, kind of active meets couch potatoe:) The strength training has really helped my cardio I haven't felt this strong swimming ever, I also run only 4 to 5 km at run 6 min walk 1 min, but I'm building. I feel really good setting my goal at 5lbs a month because I can be bad a couple of times, not beat myself up over it and still lose over the month. I know its such a struggle some times when your not seeing any lose or your going up on the scale, but I just always tell myself eating a bag of chips is definitely not going to make it better:)and I love chips!!!!!
