Woke at #202, have been DO N OMAD and also walking 6-9 miles every day at work, I have been on DEP Charge 5 lately as it has been so busy, Also consuming more Alkaline water. Meetings and new ways of DO N things at work. They hired another person to run our Culinary Operations which I'm happy about so hopefully things will get better. Not that they were bad, but everything can always be fine-tuned. My trainer comes back today, So will see him tonight, have work then Dr. then Trainer, OUCHY, hoped that does not leave a bruise, We are making German Pretzels and Black Forest cake at schools this week, And I'm DO N OK!

@FoodyDuty, we soaked the cherries in it and then poured on the cake! I did not eat any, but heard it was good!

So when you're placing your cherries in your cake after you soak them do you coat your cherries and flour or cut them up so that they float in your cake easier (I understand that a large amount are used to decorate the top of the cake but in most of my recipes it includes a portion on the cake as well)? I always do that when I put fruit in my cakes because I find it easier to make sure that the cherries 🍒 don't sink to the bottom. I know that's an issue with a lot of cakes with fruit in them. Although one can always cheat and cut up the cherries in the forest but then those aren't as pretty and black forest cakes are so impressive. You wouldn't happen to have a recipe for this lovely cake that you made though I'm always stealing...I mean collecting recipes, LOL. Teehee 😁

I put them in Whipped cream after they are baked, and put between layers of whipped cream. That way they are not dried out, more of a traditional Black Forst cake.I learned from Swiss chefs.
