Took a break from FS and really shouldn't. I'm still not ready to wing this WOE on my own. I'm maintaining, but not going down to my goal. Where I'm going wrong is in portions. I'm doing okay as far as staying away from empty calories. And I'm still getting in a good walk every day. We eat out a lot and I need to just have half my entree put into a take home box before I even start. Also need to get back into recording every thing I eat. Will do that now.

Yep... most restaurants give you too much food... sometimes more than 2 portions. We have a fancy restarant in town... people go there and complain because the portions are too small. Well... the portions are just right... they just expect a larger portion because that is what they are use to getting at cheaper places. So when you go out again Coco... think about that... and think if you are eating quality type foods too! Have a great day!

Thanks, buddies! I need accountability. Matt, you're right about how most restaurant portions are too big. Often we order 1 entree for our takeout and split it and it's usually perfect.

Hey, coco, have been missing you! I agree...when you go out, it costs so much that you expect to have portions that are comparable to what it would buy in the grocery store....so they load up on the empty calories, and you end up with way too much food. Your plan to take half off before you even start is a great one! Have a great day!

Thanks, Stef! I needed to get my butt back in here for sure! I'm about to go bathing suit shopping, so I'm nervous! LOL

Hi Coco! I agree with Matt. When I eat at a fine place, their portion size is pretty small but that's really all we need. Recording all I eat is not easy but I still want to do it just to keep my portion size right. It helps. Have a nice evening!:)
