Well my beautiful graph took an upturn today. Only a bit but enough to get me to pay attention. I have been eating sugar things and its starting to show. I think I know that if I don't have it I don't crave it, when I do have it, suddenly I'm eating more and more. Wow. In one week I had pumpkin cake, ice cream, chocolate chip cookies and just now sweetened greek yogurt. Enough is enough. I sure hate to see that slope turning up again. Point well taken. On the upswing, I did walk 5 miles yesterday. It was 2 1/2 miles to see a friend, so I did visit in between but still and all it felt good. And I did sign up for the half marathon Biggest Loser walk on January 18, so I feel good about that too. I know I'm making good changes. My zucchini noodles are the rock stars making my 500 calorie days pleasurable. Yesterday we had an Asian inspired chicken peanut salad with them that I will definitely do over and Bill loved it. He said a salad without lettuce is his kind of salad. Progress.

So you have a noodler that makes these veggies into noodles? How neat. Where do you get one? Amazon?

They carry them at walmart in the "as seen on TV" section of the store. I think they're $10.

I got a "noodler" at Walgreens for $15. I thought it was a good deal until I read @Joahanne's note! lol....

Ha. I am taking advantage of the "no weigh-ins" to hopefully get my weight down a notch or two. I was tempted today to step on it and then remembered that I had said I wouldn't. Hmm... I am hoping that this time away puts me in a better spot instead of a worse one! :)

Well, actually Ame that challenge doesn't start for another 5 or 6 days. So I will weigh myself right before it. It's only for two weeks. I'll check when it starts...

Cool. I will do a weigh in when I get home. Unfortuately, being at the cabin invites bad eating behavior but I will try and be good this weekend! :)

Well, I have it a bit easier because I will be camping and away from a scale for the first week. And although I too have no plans of being rigid in my no sugar policy I plan on tons of hiking and much vegi eating.

I'm like that too, with the craving it after having some, Kimberly Rae.

I brought up veggies from the fridge at home and had meatless spaghetti last night, loaded up with lots of spinach, mushrooms and onions. It was really tasty, considering that I did not have my "parmesan" substitute and it was missing some kind of protein. I may do that more often.
