Called and complained to Valley Metro Para-Transit this morning. I know my resolution was not to bitch about the small stuff, but having to drive myself when I'm subscribed and paying for this service isn't!
Yesterday at 8:10 am I was given an eta of 8:25 for pick up. At 8:25 it was pushed to 8:41 so had to cancel and drive myself. Now it's the WM Phoenix Open right now, which is just up the street from where I work, so traffic is a nightmare! Pain level was manageable coming in, but NOT so much after stopping for coffee, and to pick up groceries on the way home.
This morning I hadn't been assigned a ride at 8:05, but was told to call back in 10-15 minutes. At 8:15 still hadn't been assigned, so once more had to drive myself. It's the Pro-Am today, so traffic more than doubled from yesterday. Pain levels thru the roof by the time I got here! I hate to cry in front of these people. Not looking forward to this evening. Please send me any good vibes you can spare.
