I woke up a couple of times during the night before getting up late morning cause I was nervous about power failure. I checked my phone (Facebook) to see what was happening around town & there were outages but we got lucky. It was snowing when I got up but it slowed after a bit. We had intermittent showers during the day & it is snowing lightly now. It's supposed to stop by 9:30 to 10 PM. Tomorrow is cold but by Tues. it supposed to get to 50 degrees.
It was cool watching the birds come to the feeder this morning. We had a bunch of Cardinals show up at the same time along with the regular crew. I usually only see one at a time...or maybe a male & a female couple together.
We had a big late breakfast then spent the afternoon cozy inside watching football & reading. I did venture out for a few minutes to take a couple of pictures out back & discovered our big Pyracantha bush leaning all the way over from the weight of the snow 😕
We're having Chicken tortilla soup & a salad for dinner.
