My early morning weigh in hung around.
More rain today...no afternoon walk....unless I count parking a ways from the door when I went to Walmart.
Routine checkup with my Cardiologist yesterday. All good. Today I had a consultation for a colonoscopy. Last one was in 2014. That's scheduled later this month.
Today is our nephew in Canada's birthday. He's 6 days younger than me 😊 He's married to my Hubby's middle sister's daughter. We just had a 2 hour phone call....there may have been an extra glass of wine enjoyed during said phone call.
Yesterday I had a long video call with my daughter in Texas. We were actually on a regular call & she wanted to show me something....so video call it is. She ended up showing me all the progress or lack of she's made since having a garage sale over the weekend. We will be there at her house on Friday. I'm happy that after several years of renting a storage unit she has finally begun to "let go" of stuff. When her marriage ended she had a hard time. She has disposed of enough stuff that she will be able to give up her storage unit & be able to pocket that money. Not only is this a physical release but a mental one. It took awhile and I'm proud of her progress.
Tomorrow I'll pack for 6 days in Dallas. We have an early morning flight on Friday so I'll have to be up at o' dark thirty 😐 I'm like 2 hours from the airport and with arriving an hour & a half before our flight....yep EARLY. Hubby is driving me to my sister's place...my other 2 sisters will be with her. My niece is driving us to the airport so no one has to leave a car parked. My other niece ( her sister) is meeting us there. These arrangements will save Hubby making the drive all the way to the airport & back again early morning (at least 2 hours).
I cooked Mahi Mahi for dinner....rice pilaf with broccoli mixed in on the side. I had a huge filet so there's enough for another meal for Hubby. Bed time for me 😴🕧💤💤💤 I will read a bit before sleep...my book's getting good!!
