Allergies? Or sick? My son has allergies. I know how bad it gets. Try a Neti pot.

Mucinex never works for me- doesn't stop me from buying it and complaining it doesn't work. I bought some Advil allergy and congestion that I have never seen before and it appears to be working wonders.

That Advil stuff is what I’ve used for years DP. Great stuff. I haven’t seen the m stuff. Is this a Canadian product vs American? Interesting! 😉

I feel your pain :( I have chronic reoccurring sinusitis :(

I can manage with the congestion. It's when it's accompanied by endless drainage that ruins me (stuffy head, but nose that runs constantly, forcing one to shove rolled up tissues dragon-breath style up the nostrils). Surely the body is burning massive calories producing so much snot, yes? and will dump it all off shortly!

And i love mucinex, but you have to drink tons of water for it to work.

Yeah even the tons of water- which I drink daily anyhow - doesn't help me. And it's fairly expensive which used to give me high hopes. Lol

I've had a runny nose for years. When I use my Neti pot it stops running for a day. The advanced form of it is harder for me: breathing in to get the salt water to come out my mouth, to get at the other set of sinus.

Have you tried Xclear nasal spray?

DP, you know I’m cheap. Costco generic version. It’s the four hour kind, but that’s good enough for me.

I just use OTC allergy meds and I get my nasal spray @Supermarket or Pharmacy. I'm going to see a specialist, again, to get back on my allergy shots pretty-soon. Lately, about the last week, my husband has been having:coughs, sneezes, red-eyes, headaches, itchyness all over, runny nose, and no fever. He's got allergies. He's been taking Robitusin & my allergy pills to no avail. I have to go to the .99 Cent store and get me some more allergy pills, btw. Time for a walk. L8r, take care & stay blessed everyone...Amen

I use Afrin once in awhile when I'm really stopped up. Really works well. If it's allergies, I do it all, the sinus rinses twice a day, nasal sprays and Zyrtec. My allergies haven't been bad since Covid - maybe the masks really helped.
