Shrewd, as a fellow desk prisoner, I have been trying to squeeze in 5-10 minutes every other hour. I've done it enough that my watch rags on me when I don't. It's not perfect, but it's better than nothing.

Working long hours was always difficult for me to get exercise in too!!! What Kat said! I've heard sitting is the new smoking in that its just as bad for our health. I've also heard doing three 10 minute walks a day is just as beneficial as doing 30 mins a day. I know the struggle though! I used to be on such tight deadlines I'd skip breaks. But it really cost me in back pain. Its so hard to put yourself first but it's so important in this case!

Katsolo you crack me up as a desk prisoner and surly that is what I am!🙁 I do have a watch stating every hour, which I should get up and walk the huge warehouse. I will have to check how many steps that is, 250 sounds reasonable Ridemariel. 🌸
Bearnoggin, I will keep your three 10 minutes walks to heart. After Kenna lost her friend today, I just can’t get away with just sitting there and ignoring the fact that I am not exercising, thanks for the pep talk!🌺

Here’s to exercise! If you have too, do 6, 5 minute walks. Exercise is such a necessity. I wish people knew how important it is to move, often, more. Take care of yourself mama shrewd! 🥰❤️

Yes it is important to exercise says me a stroke victim. Too young and had retired. Now I make sure I walk an hour and do cardio. There are chair exercises on YouTube, 10 minute HIITs which are easy and done before you know it. The main thing is to get your heart rate up and the body parts moving. Walks are easiest and most enjoyable. Split them up. Do a few leg raisers while waiting for the kettle to boil......

Have you ever watched John Pinette? He was an awesome comedian. I loved his one routine where he said he was in a splinter cell of Weight Watchers. They buy other peoples' unused points, lol. Sadly, he passed away in 2014. But I love watching him to this day. He's on Youtube.

Ichfjo, I will try to look him up today! My husband, drives me crazy, for he such a comedian himself, would probably just love it! I can’t talk to him about anything without him coming up with some kind of joke.🙃
