Hubby & I both got our first Covid vaccine today. The health department set up a clinic at the Park & Rec building. You had to have an appointment and they gave you a time....we had to go between noon & 1. It was very organized & went smoothly. They had chairs set up in a seperate room to wait for 15 minutes afterwards to make sure you didn't have an immediate reaction. Although, we both have antibodies, our doctors & other medical professionals we consulted encouraged us to still get the vaccine. The jury is still out on how long the antibodies protect you or if they even do prevent reinfection. So far, I feel fine. We did treat ourselves with pizza for lunch 😊 We shared a 12" thin crust & brought about a quarter of it home.
We also got a to go order of wings in case I don't feel like cooking tonight. Gotta be prepared! 😉
Taking it easy this afternoon. May get a walk in. It's cold but dry for now. Rain is possible, so we'll see what it's like in half an hour or so.
