I usually do, too. There's no telling, honestly- what my weight will do. I just hope it goes back into the 170's but 4 pounds off yesterday means I'll probably gain tomorrow- especially if I don't get my ass in gear and stop playing on FS.

Oh dang!!! DP, this is amazing. You’ve been working so hard and it shows. Congrats and have an amazing weekend 💖

A year and a half in and you still don't know I can't deal with the sappy crap from you. 😘 I don't like the comments that assume I'm distraught over a gain on the scale...the hang in there stuff if I've been busting ass and I know it's water. But I never get those anymore and until I reach my goals, FS is stuck with me.

Thanks kp! Mine is probably one of the smallest yards in town so only takes 15-20 minutes and since we pulled weeds not too, too long ago...not much else to do today in the yard.

I gave up mowing the lawn years ago, don't even have a lawn mower now. But yard work is good exercise so I still will get outside and rake once in awhile. There are always leaves because I have trees that lose them all year long. Sounds like you are back at the gym and working hard at it. I am not even sure if the gym is open in my county. In most of the counties in California gyms and hair salons are closed. My county is doing okay, but I am still cautious. Haven't been to the gym since March and it sure shows!

Nice going, girl! And I'm awfully glad we are "stuck" with you!

Mad envy on the drop you just recorded. Do not envy lawn mowing workout. But you're only 15 pounds from your goal weight now, and that's pretty exciting to see.

Fritzy...I dread the gym closing again. School was supposed to start August 17th and we were given the choice to send our children or do remote learning. My kids were excited to go back and I was ready to send them and just take our chances since I don't feel like they were learning a lot. Got an email yesterday that there was an emergency school board meeting and due to the rising cases, especially among the youth in our County, they have decided that there is no school starting. Everyone has to do remote learning for the first quarter and then they will reassess. My kids are heartbroken. I guess I won't have the added expense of school clothes shopping. I'm really not sure what to think about it at this point or what is the best choice. And it appears I don't have to make that choice. It's been made for us. And I know it's selfish, but I really hope that in turn, that doesn't make our gym close again.

I’ll have both my kids at home doing online university degrees. I can’t even think of it. They’re either gonna hurt each other or...pray for us! 😳

DP — what is your county’s rate of infection of cases per 100,000 and % positivity ( both should be calculated at a 7 day rolling average) ? Both the CDC and WHO recommend under 5% positivity for schools to open in person. If your county is over that, it is not safe to return. Yes, face to face schools are the best place to learn, but not at risk of increasing community spread in an uncontrolled pandemic. Online learning is not perfect but it is currently the safest. It tough on kids, parents, and teachers. My heart goes out to you and every family/ community. Life as we know it is not normal.

It would be tough to have kids at home. They want to be in school with their friends and I know lots of parents who just want them out of the house. It would be a tough decision to make if there was the option to send them back to school. Where I live the schools were going to reopen but now they've decided against it for awhile.

I have one who will be starting her masters degree program, a university student, a community college student and a junior in high school all at home... Insanity! I think I'll leave! Oh... Right. I can't travel! 😢

I know- It is so crazy!! And I know that we are better off than so many whose kids aren't as independent or who lack the technology to even be able to participate or those who have parents that just don't care, the ones who need the school lunches each day- just breaks my heart to think about how many are in worse shape but it is a bad situation all the way around. Thank God mine are not at an age where I would have to home school. We just would not survive without both of us working. So really we are beyond blessed and I am being a whiny ass.

KP- That is awesome that you are healthy and fit enough to do your own lawn. GibJig- I really don't know and haven't followed the statistics since the first month or two.

Then I am a whiny ass too! 😁 I'm more than tired of home schooling, so I'm delighted the kids are independent and old! We are healthy so far and have so much for which to be grateful! I agree!
