I weighed in this morning but didn't have time to record until now (5:45pm). I found a sick house finch in my back driveway, so I was busy taking him to the wildlife rescue service about 18 miles from here. He had a large growth between his eye and beak, and it appeared to be avian pox. I hope he'll survive but it wasn't looking good, poor little thing. We love the wild birds that hang around our feeders. I hate it when anything happens to them.
I'm worried about the feral cat I've been feeding in our front driveway. He hasn't been here for 4 days now and he usually comes daily. I'd like to catch him and take him to the vet but he won't let me near him. Hope he's ok.
Mr C and I had the trifecta for lunch today at First Watch, my favorite breakfast place. Blueberry pancake, poached eggs, bacon, and grits. So delicious. I made time for the gym this afternoon so I feel great despite the big lunch. I'll keep my calories low tonight.
