Last week I was a bit frustrated again when the scale said 66.8kg on Friday morning after I'd been good at tracking for three weeks straight. So I decided to take the weekend off and not track to 'reset' as some people have suggested and although I was still mindful of what I ate I had a bit of everything that I wanted and even said 'no thank you' to some things. Then I started fresh again on Monday morning and I'm happy with the results.
Still not where I wanted to be right now, which was at 65kg, but my clothes still feel the same and I hope that I'm building a bit of muscle. Did half an hour of leg workouts on Monday and will hopefully do another hour of full body exercise with weights sometime over the long weekend - maybe this evening. I think I might benefit from reducing my average calories to 1500, but the thing is that around 1400 for these past few days I go to bed hungry almost every time and it makes me a bit miserable I think. I need to be in a good headspace because work is quite hectic right now and will be for the next six weeks or so and I need to stay positive and 'capable' so trying not to let a number on a scale affect me so much. There are more important things! I am healthy, I feel strong. I can do this! A great weekend to everyone!
