Day 2 of a planned 5 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting
I haven’t had a chance to 🏃🏾♂️ run-at-all for a week. I should run today, but, I have a stuffy head and I feel like I am coming down with the flu.
I am just not feeling like ‘digging in’ this week for weight loss. I will just stick to my usual ‘no solid food fast’ this week and see what happens. Another reason I am not ‘motivated’ to be ‘aggressive’ about weight loss this week is that I have a 3 day weekend coming up and I *always* gain a lot on a 3 day weekend.
I think I will feel motivated to ‘try harder’ next week…

How about the opposite, “solid food “ now & no solid food during the 3-day vacation?

@srossca - I never have a 'solid food day' where I don't gain 1-2 pounds a day. So....

This is one reason I do not allow carbs for myself. Breaking the focus. What you say sounds very familiar to me. Been there. You do great with keeping your focus on your fasting routine. I have never tried a long term liquid-only fast. I'm stuck at a plateau, so this 'race' we're on is not exactly a national tv event. Go good man.

@Diddlee - The 'no solid food fast' works better when I (1) STILL keep the carbs below 10 and (2) Do a lot of cardio. Right now I am not up to doing either this week... Next week, that will be the week to *race* 😜

adefwebserver How mutch do you run? And may i sugest that 10 carbs are too low if you making effort. Even Doctor Atkins recommend 15g/day. I do 0g/day and believe me is like hell is coming to earth.

@Kirkovm - Because I eat on the weekends my *weekly carb average* is actually much higher. I think the normal recommendations assume that is your intake 7 days a week :)
