Be careful! Listen to your body. To do well, and maintain optimum health, you need a certain amount of protein carbs and fats in your diet. Total keto, works, but you do need a break. To make sure you are getting enough protein for energy and body repair, you should be taking in a minimum of 60 grams of protein a day to 90 if you are very active. Carbs should be complex and low glycemic index. Believe it or not, potatoes are one of those foods. As are complex whole grains, like quinoa, whole grains, ancient grains. Quinoa, is the only whole, ancient grain, that has maximum protein, complex carbs and all the needed vitamins and minerals for a healthy diet. Sure it may have 44 grams of carbs, but... BUT, they are the right kind of carbs to keep you healthy. It can be put in salads, as a side, mixed in stews, like veggie stews, etc. when you don’t get what your body needs, it becomes fatigued, and worn out. You lose too much weight, and then you lose your appetite, and bam, your diet sucks and you get nothing of what you need. As a former nurse, get some labs done to see what you may be low on, and then consult with your doctor on supplements. You could have a few important deficits in minerals and needed vitamins. Whole grains also provide important B vitamins your body needs for energy and healthy healing. Plus, your immunity suffers, and you are more prone to catching colds and feeling yucky. Get yourself a physical and blood work. Please? ❤️❤️👩🏻⚕️
