Not what I expected..good Wednesday morning..I do an extended fast and expect to see a drop...instead it goes up..but I did ride yesterday an drink electrolytes...and just finished a 17.5 mile ride in zwift on a 17 hour fast drinking fizz..electrolytes in my water bottle...so who knows..it is what it is..
Just another lesson to be learned..weight comes off at its own pace...
Felt great to be up this morning and on trainer riding in zwift by 5 am...even better doing a 17.5 mile ride in 1:11 on time...all while being in a fasted mode..I did take creatine couple of times as I rode but no calories or sugar in that...creatine helps muscles recover faster..helps when riding up hills...lol...
Breakfast is over...need to set up salad..not sure what else is in my plans...
Have a great Wednesday...

Repeat this protocol for 4 days and get ready for your whoosh. Let your body know you are serious. 1 day is not enough. Keep going.

you will find you burned fat which is pretty much the point of doing this. muscles worked retain water for recovery, body burns fat for energy. great job!

how long is your fast?
is not much of a gain anyway, I'm sure it is only liquids, your body is super smart to take what it needs 😉

Sorry there was a gain in weight when you were expecting a loss. Gatorade Electrolyte Water Black Cherry is very good. Does creatine add weight? I've heard of it before. Does it help build muscle?

I threw my scale away months ago and decided to build my body instead of wanting it to be less/smaller. I lift weights and do cross training. Now I track based on caloric deficit and in the last six weeks my belt dropped three notches.

You're working so hard and doing an amazing job. That scale sure throws us off. Have you measured yourself in awhile. Maybe you're losing inches.
