Last night I made a low carb chocolate avocado pie, adapted from a recipe for chocolate avocado cake that I found online. It turned out really good, has a dark chocolate taste. It's about 283 calories per slice (1/8 of the pie) 5 grams net carbs. I used Splenda as a sweetener because that's what I have, if you used a zero carb sweetener net carbs would be about 1 1/2 grams less. Here's a pic, and the recipe can be found on my profile page if interested. I'll probably tweak it some next time I make it. After it set up in the fridge I sliced it and stored the whole pie wrapped in the freezer. It's pretty easy to separate frozen pieces when needed then set them in the fridge to defrost for later. I like it because it should be easy to incorporate into a keto diet. Fats are healthy, some decent nutrition, antioxidants from the cocoa, and fiber from the avocado.
