OK So I had my chip meltdown yesterday, about 1.5 hours of sleep due to work stress (had to get a test plan ready), and then my morning workout. He upped the reps and kicked my butt. Those darn planks (inclined) are hard! I can't believe how tough it is to sit there on my forearms for 1 minute. I was shaking like a leaf when all done. He made me do 2 for 45 sec on vibrating platform and then the last one was 1 minute on no-vibrating, which was a good thing b/c by the end I was barely hanging on!

I have been doing the weight training for 1 month and I really like it. It makes a HUGE difference in my ability to stand and walk. I couldn't walk 50 feet to my car without pain and agony and now I can walk a half mile without thinking about it. Totally worth every penny.

One hour until this horrifying meeting starts and then I can continue my day with less stress.

Have a good day everyone!

Test plans are horrible things. I dread writing them every time we have a change to push into production. Weight training like Zak said works wonders. Keep it up.

DietDoctor.com the program revs your metabolism up 300 additional calories a day and there is not workout whether you are doing it 4 times a week or 3 times a week that can burn 2,100 extra calories a week so the only benefit in exercise is to do it if you like to do it not because you think it is helping you. A 4 day a week Cardio/Strength Training workout (45 mins a session) might burn 1,300 extra calories a week and that is if you don't eat anything extra to restore your energy before and after the workout.
