Well! Today I didn't follow my usual routine of wake up, weigh in, pills, write, breakfast, walk. I haven't even peed yet. I woke up to a text from my girlfriend that put me in full blown panic mode. Did I eat my feelings or become a potato? No (mostly because I'd have to explain why I being a panicky potato and my family doesn't know she's my girlfriend), I went on a walk while I texted her and got it sorted out. That's good, right? I definitely got in my walk, despite being really cold because I didn't think to grab a sweater My weigh in might be inaccurate now but whatever! I burned calories before they even went in and made a good choice

Be careful with the stress, it a saboteur. Maybe telling the fam sooner than later is best but idk. Take it easy Em. Keep up the hard work.

Thanks. I'm mostly avoiding telling them because one of my sisters, for lack of a better term, can be a real mega-b****, especially about anything different. It's easier just to not say anything until she's gone to school or until I can go see my girlfriend at least once, you know?
99% of the time this relationship is the exact opposite of stress

I'm sorry you had a rough time but glad you got it sorted out. It's hard enough to communicate well all the time with a partner in person; at a distance communication can easily and quickly become problematic. I hope things are better now and that you'll be able to see your girlfriend soon. There must be some stress surrounding whether/where/when/for how long she'll be deployed after basic training. Keep being your beautiful self!
