I decided I wanted chocolate tonight. So I did. I had bought extra dark chocolate wedges at trader joe's and had saved them. Worth the 2.5 carbs. I only had one wedge and the serving size was 2 wedges. 7 carbs per serving, 2 grams of fiber per serving so half of that 2.5 net carbs.
Today I decided I was ready to get another dog. We had our fur baby for 16 years before she went. She was in so much pain that we had to put her to sleep. It wasn't fair to her, she couldn't walk the last day and was in pain. At 16 years old there's not a lot anyone could do her her since her back legs and hips went out. That was 3 months ago and I miss her. I won't get another lab (she was a lab mix and about 100 pounds) and I'm not trying to replace her. So now to decide what type of dog will suit us now. I really hope to find a dog between 20 and 50 pounds for max size. I really don't want a dog smaller than our cats. Off to the shelters in the next few weeks.

So sorry about the loose of your dog I know how painful that is. I had to put my Merlin (cat) to sleep in Feb & he was 14 now my 12 year old is having some problems. When I was on the farm so they had a lot of room I always had labs their great dogs good luck finding what you want.

I had to let my Clyde go 3 years ago and when I was ready for another dog, it just had to be completley different. Well let me tell you: a springer spanial couldn't be anymore different to a lurcher :). If you are looking for something energetic get a springer, if you want a couch potato at 25 miles an hour, get a lurcher :)

I'm not sure what type of dog we want yet but thank you! I do know I want to top out the weight at 50lbs and whatever dog we do get has to be bigger than our cats combined. I want a smaller dog to pick him/her up easily for baths, car rides, and fit on the bed. Compared to my baby 50lbs is tiny. She was 95lbs and only about 5lbs overweight.

Check Suncoast Animal League in Palm Harbor. They are a very good rescue.
