Have been on the couch covered in warm blankets since I came home. A cup f peppermint tea, some toast and part of a baked potato. Can't get warm, stomach queasy, and bloated, temp of 101. There is a 24 hr stomach bug going around, probably it. Will be in bed by 7:00. Hopefully up and feeling good tomorrow.

Grapefruit seed extract is a natural antibiotic that kills bad stuff in the body without killing the good stuff. I buy it at the health food store and it lasts a long time because you only do about 12-14 drops in water, 3 x a day for 3 days but by the second day whatever I had was annihilated!! It tastes bitter so hard to do but worth it. I quick chew on something right after to get rid of the taste. It's worth a try.

Good idea on the grapefruit extract. I will have to add that to my shopping list. Sounds like a good thing to keep handy. Thanks everyone for your support. Fever is down to 99 this am, not the stomach cramps they continue. Downed some milk of magnesia hoping to get rid of the gassy type cramps, only thing I had in the house and I'm sure it's out of date. Have to go to work as I think I'm out of sick days. I'll just wrap up in a blanket like I did yesterday and make sure I have a warmer sweater today.

Hope it is the quickly-recovering-from type of bug! I hope you feel better soon.

Ginger tea or grated ginger in your food works wonders for gassy bloating. Da used to put caraway seeds on crackers too. Hope you feel better!

Never thought about ginger, have lots of that @ home. Heading for the tea store after work. Licorice tea works really well, in moderation. too many cups and you are stuck on the john. Great if you are constipated :)), I'm out of the licorice
