Day 2 of a planned 4 days of eating
Planned to only consume 100 carbs or less. I put in my planned food for the day, had not even eaten it yet, and it came out to 150+ carbs (sigh).
So I decided to do a 🏃🏾♂ run. Usually this allows me to ‘cheat’ on my carbs because it burns glycogen. That worked, I dropped 5 pounds.
Of course ‘carbing up’ later that night (Pizza 🍕!) ‘refilled’ my glycogen levels (and the ‘water weight’ that comes with that).
😎 Life is Good! Have a great day everyone!

@Fritzy 22 - Haha yes! But, there is a party tonight and an all day "play video games and eat carbs" planned for Sunday...

@liv001 - The plan today is to hit the gym and try to start eating as late in the day as possible. There is a party planned tonight so... 🤦🏾♂️

Ah, yes, the water. 150 gm carbs, hmmmm, mine = 400 Net carbs usually. Have a great day.

@rgaDawg - I think if a person does say 150+ carbs a day they will not have the 'up and down' that I do. However, if I don't do low carb, I-cannot-lose-much-fat. I have gone *years* only losing 5-10 pounds a --YEAR-- 🤦🏾♂️. I was only able to drop from 215-168 by going low carb for the *entire-ride-down*. Yes, some people can consume 150+ carbs a day and lose weight (especially if their carbs have a low glycemic index), but for me that just-won't-happen.
