216.4 lbs this morning, down .4 since Monday but still a pound higher than Sunday. I'll attribute it to higher carbs on Sunday plus beer and a shot of whiskey over the weekend. No more of that for the time being, low carb or not it messes with my being in ketosis.
My wife helped me pick the rest of the leftover crabs last night, tonight we'll be making a keto friendly cream of crab soup to go with dinner. I found a recipe online, will tweak it a little bit but it's pretty close to "standard" cream of crab exept it uses cream cheese as a thickener. I'm going to include a small roux with 1 TBSP of flour as I'm not sure cream cheese alone will make it thick enough. The flour will add less than a gram of carbs per serving and the roux will add flavor. As planned, it'll be 6g carbs per serving. Looking forward to it!

Sounds like a great plan with the crab soup. I think the beer can be carby. Depends what it is but whiskey has virtually no carb. It is likely that your body will try to burn off the alcohol before it does anything else so that could be a small interference.

The crab bisque sounds awesome! I use Dixie Carb Counters Thick It Up, instead of flour, to thicken sauces. I don't remember if I got it from Amazon or Netrition.

Liv001 - Besides my body burning alcohol instead of fat, the alcohol also makes me more likely to cheat on eating so no need for me to go there. Gz9gjg, I'll check out that thickener, thanks!
