Thank you to Dawn001 for a new attitude - I am trying to be intuitive, and caring for myself. I am reading the book: Eat, Pray, Love - I think it will be my guide for what to do for the next day-by-day stretch of my life!
Eat - good food, just enough, being good to me because that is what I want - I am using less willpower with food choices because there isn't any decision to be made if I am eating right!
Pray - I am contemplating finding a church, but my cousin teaches a self-actualization class and if he doesn't have one coming up then I could get him to work through the course one-on-one.
Love - well, I am hoping this will work out too! thanks to Chatty for the recommendation of plenty of fish . com - people on there seem friendly. My friends plan on helping me "network" - they are so sweet.
I have Gratitude for: my friends!!!
For C - who brought her speakers for daughter's party, and helped get the music going - really really loud! For A - who came because she was nosy about the party venue, but also cleaned up all night For R - who dressed up even though her good dress was itchy! and who went home to change and then went and bought candles for the cake because the birthday girl and her mom forgot candles! For B and CC - who came early and set up and decorated too.
Daughter had a wonderful time - ice cream cake and presents! Lots of friends and they all danced all the time! By the end I was done with the party and then she went out for some food with a carload of her still perky friends! We decorated in neon colors with silver star accents - color tablecloths and stars hanging off the lights. The real decoration was the dress-up by the girls and boys, though! Very pretty - the party was semi formal. Food: chips, salsa, pigs-in-a-blanket, mini quiches, and fruit and veggie platters. We had a lot of food leftover and I thought we wouldn't have half enough!
I am working on days this week, and back out at night next week - then maybe days after that? I know the night project is only going to last til mid-September at the latest which is doable - then back on days and probably on a contract for drawbridges. That will be a great project! It's inspecting repairs, not building new, but still, it's what I do for work.
Hang in there all!
