Day 1 of a planned 5 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting
Yeah I did the 240 carb 3,000 calorie day yesterday. I did do a 7 mile 🏃🏾♂️ run yesterday, but you can’t actually ‘balance that out’ with exercise. I think I’m gonna take a major hit on this one... it just hasn't hit yet...
I am still on my high protein is worse than carbs thing, so today I am going to try something *new*…
I am not going to have any protein powder today. I’m going to drink decaf green tea with heavy cream all day. The calories will be about the same but on a ‘no solid food’ fast day my protein is usually 70gram-100grams. Today I will reduce it to <5 grams. I will also reduce the carbs to <5 grams. However, the heavy cream will still keep the calories around 1k.
I will also try to run Tuesday morning to help flush out glycogen and force my body to produce more glucose, and then more glycogen, from the fat it stored over the weekend when I was pounding the carbs…
