It's Monday. I'm blitzed!
The last three weeks have been SO busy. I haven't been on the computer except to check emails. Sorry to all my buddies. I hope you will forgive.
The fiber show is behind me. I made enough to pay for the materials and entry fees. This first time around, that was all I was hoping for . . . not to end up in a hole. Because of my very lost year, I had very little to enter, so I was pleased with my reception and the last three weeks of whirlwind were worth the effort. 'Nuf said.
I had a very weird, light-bulb moment last night. I was sitting, unwinding and had this thought. "Now that all the activity is over, I have to get back to eating normally." Not, "I have to get back to my diet." Not, I have to get back to my WOE." . . . "I have to get back to eating NORMALLY." I've been told all my life that the only way to speak a language fluently is to be able to THINK in that language. I must be at that point in my campaign for healthier eating, because my brain now has that imbedded as NORMAL. That was a real eye opener.
Now, I have to take a few days to catch up with the house and my critters. Thanksgiving is on Thursday, so the holiday season is in full swing. I'm going to Ohio sometime in Dec. to spend Christmas with my daughter and granddaughter. I want to come home to some semblance of cleanliness and organization, so that isn't what I think about the whole time I'm gone.
I hope all my buddies have had a good three weeks. I will try to catch up on journals off and on today. I'm off to do laundry and other various and sundry housekeeping stuff. HUGS!!!
Today I am thankful for:Waking up!
Obama winning the election.
Not being in the hole after the fiber show. (As a whole, the 50, some-odd artists, in a 100'x100' room, made over $44,000 dollars in 1 1/2 days.)
Having calm descend once again!
My wonderful friends and family.
