I have a question to pose to people about maintaining energy during the work day. I unfortunately work a more sedentary job that requires little physical activity. In the last three weeks or so, I have been feeling pretty energetic in the mornings but getting extremely tired midday (anywhere between 12:30pm and 3:30pm). While this is a normal occurrence for many, the acuteness of the onset and extremity of it was concerning. Now, my diet itself has not changed for the worse (I think) but I recently started taking psychotropic meds for anxiety and depression, which coincided with the change in energy level. I originally figured it was the meds and spoke with my doctor, who said I can mess around with the timing if I am concerned. So, now I think I have THAT in order, but still have the sudden crash during the day (though to a lesser extent). I have been trying to find means of keeping up energy during the work days. I've taken to trying Ginseng tablets earlier in the day and replacing coffee with tea (my habit of drinking diet soda and coffee might have messed with how caffeine affects me). i plan to incoprorate more random 5-10 walkarounds during the work day but I am trying to stray away from napping on my breaks. How do folks keep up their energy during the work day?
