Hey everyone, just thought i should share this. i was going down the news feed and saw posts of people saying that they were following their diet really good but gained weight, and were wondering how this happened. what it is, is, if you are on a low calorie diet it is mandatory that you have a "cheat day". yes, a cheat DAY! only one day of the week to one day every 10 days, just eat however much and whatever you want... literally. now i'm going to tell you why. its because if you keep going on these diets you body starts to go into "starvation mode". "starvation mode" is were you body isn't getting enough calories as it would like so your body says "ok, i gotta slow my metabolism down (in order to not use as many calories) and store all that food around my gut." you may gain a very slight amount of weight for the day, but that little weight gain will help you loose weight and keep loosing weight, just like you did when you first started dieting. so having a cheat day will reset your body and tells it that it is not starving, thus allowing you body to keep burning fat. i would encourage you to try it, as it has worked for me, and don't just take my word for it and do some research on it. and as far as ALL EATING goes just remember that one bad day of eating wont hurt you as one good day of eating wont help you.
