Papa said he was taking me to someone who was going to shoot me. Somebody called a veterinarian. I was scared, but he said it was to make me safer. She was nice but then she snuck up on me and stuck me with something. Then she put something... she took my temperature.

I put on another .6 pounds. The vet said she didn't want me gaining weight too fast because it can cause hip problems later in life. Papa asked if 4.6 pounds in 2 weeks was too fast. I went from 10 pounds to 14.6. The vet said I should be thirty pounds in a month. I think papa will be okay.

I almost forgot. Papa kept me on a leash the whole time we were hunting. :( He said my camo was too good and he didn't want to lose me. I think he's just a control freak.

I'll be 10 weeks old in two days. Papa says I've put on four pounds in ten days. He says I'm right on track if I'm going to be 70 pounds. Today he took hunting again. I got to play in snow! It was fun. Papa says I have to go to bed now to be up early. Tomorrow is last day of moose season. Here's a picture of me, but I really need to go sleep now. Night everyone.

Hi guys. I started at 10 pounds (I'm a puppy) and I'm now 11.2 Maybe Dad's right. Maybe I will get big.

NM: Tika. You were such a good puppy last night.

TikaNM: Was I? *Wags tail like crazy* Could we go on a walk again today? Maybe run a little bit on the leash?

NM: Oh, for sure. We can go to a couple of places again and meet new people.

TikaNM: I'm not sure I like that.

NM: I know. You'll get better at it. You need to know you're secure in my pack and that I won't allow members from other packs to hurt you. You can be a happy, friendly dog.

TikaNM: I'll try, papa. Papa. I miss my mom and sibs. Everything is so fresh and new to me. I like it and all, but I have questions.



NM: I'll do my best to answer any questions you may ask okay? You're a good girl, and you're very smart. You're already learning to come and sit and you're only two months old. You can ask any questions you want.

TikaNM: Thanks, papa. *lick* Papa?

TikaNM: How come you have to be an advanced user to tell new programs not to install invasive crap on the computer?
