Started a few weeks ago following the Gabriel Method. Jon Gabriel lost over 220lbs using a system of adding in things, rather than taking things out. A large part of his system deals with the "head" as well as the body, and uses visualization and meditation. It's amazing how well it is working as 2 days last week I forgot to eat dinner! I'm not hungry, and already I want different foods. I've lost 8.8lbs and am not eating any special foods or doing anything different.

A big deal for me indeed is the fact that the store around the corner has loads of chocolate on sale. Normally, I'd be drooling but I've completely forgotten about it. I had to go to the store for something else and walked right past it.

I can't believe how freeing all of this is, not being on a diet: I'm not eating special foods and I'm starting to think like a thin person. I just turned down ice cream, which I would never have done before. Next block for me will be starting to exercise. Jon has a meditation for that, too, so let's see what happens! lol.
