I am a married 44 year old woman. I am a desk jockey, so I don't get as much exercise as I would like. Go to Curves 3x a week. Try to eat a healthy diet with not too much junk; want to try the Curves diet. Need to lose about 15 lbs. Have a lovely 6-year old daughter who keeps me busy. Live in a suburb of Denver, CO.

A FUN TOPIC!!! Where do you notice your weight loss first???
Unfortunately, not in the waist! I was looking at my arms and legs the other day, and they are normal, but the middle looks like it should be on a much larger person. Damn that middle-age spread. I never had this problem when I was in my 20's - it was the opposite - all my waistbands would always be way too big and I would have to safety pin or belt them in. Those were the days...

Any success with the Curves diet?
Have been going to Curves to exercise for almost a year, but no sigificant weight loss. Has anyone tried the diet? I have the book, and it seems similar to South Beach. In all fairness, I don't do much else exercise except Curves 3x a week. It would probably help if I would do more walking, biking.
