I am 71 and a retired US Navy Chief Petty Officer.

I have been a yo-yo dieter most of my life. For the past couple of years I was following a low cal / low fat diet without success. Even at a 900 calorie level I was not losing any weight. My metabolism was really messed up so I decided to shake it up and I started Atkins, Increased my fat, increased my protein and drastically cut my carbs. I was trying 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carbs.

Stuck at never losing weight- Atkins
Are you testing with keto sticks? Are they turning purple? If not you are taking in carbs somewhere in your diet. I would re read all labels looking for any source of carbs. It is there somewhere. Do you have the Atkins book? I like the 1972 version the best but I started out with the New Diet revolution book. Eat nothing, not even a spoonful of any food not listed in the book as induction suitable. You can do this!!
