Wednesday check-in: I didn't check in last Wednesday because I had to go out of town to drive my daughter for an outpatient medical procedure. I won't be doing a weigh-in until I am able to go back home. I am not tracking my food, either, but sticking to my WOE as much as possible. I just hope I don't gain! 🤔

Wednesday check-in: I checked into my temporary apartment Friday, and it is very nice 😊 I am one block away from my Whole Foods, which is nice. My first trip was Saturday after my choir sang for a funeral and was buying more than I could carry had I walked but yesterday I walked to pick up a couple of things I forgot. I have been eating all my usual healthy foods but still unable to weigh, though I found out the fitness center here does have a scale. I normally weigh first thing in the morning without clothes, so I won’t do that but between checking out from the hotel and checking in here I went by to Marshalls and bought a new bathing suit to be able to use the pool while I am here until June 25. Maybe I’ll go back and get some workout clothes.🤔 I could probably accomplish something between now and June 25. I am attaching a photo of the view from my balcony. ❣️

Wednesday Check-in: For the next two months, I am going to call this a check-in instead of a weigh-in unless there is a scale in the furnished apartment I am moving to from my hotel room on Friday. I checked with the front desk here to see if they had a scale in the hotel fitness center - they don't. I will probably be able to track my food again once I move and do all my own cooking again. I have been partaking in the free breakfast every morning which has been very good but anything I don't prepare myself is hard to track. They are putting me up in a 17th floor 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom penthouse apartment!

Wednesday weigh-in: Well, after all my damages were assessed, today I will have to move out into temporary housing for 60 days while they pack all my things up to store and redo the drywall in the entire downstairs ceiling, rip up all the carpet and laminate flooring, then paint. I will have a whole new condo when I get back! I will not be able to weigh on Wednesdays but will track my food the best I can and see how I do for two months. Now I have to pack clothes, groceries, my Vitamix, collagen, egg white protein powder, kitchen scale, blood pressure monitor, and everything else I will need to take to be away for two months.

Wednesday weigh-in: last Wednesday right before 5 o'clock, my PVC hot water pipe under my bathroom sink broke off just inside the wall and flooded two floors of my condo! What an ordeal!! The water remediation people came over Friday and assessed the damage and they will have to pack all my stuff up and store it while I will have to stay in temporary housing as they have to drop the downstairs ceiling to replace drywall and take up and replace upstairs carpet and laminate floor downstairs. I just found out from the insurance adjuster yesterday that I only have $5000 part A coverage for those things attached to the dwelling and over $66,000 for part C personal property coverage. I had hardly any damage to my stuff. My policy does include $26,000 for loss of use, so temporary housing will be covered. The restoration company will send me an estimate today. I have a little money from the sale of my Mother's house; my three siblings and I closed on the sale at the end of February. I will just have to do the best I can. After this is all settled, I will definitely add more coverage to part A and less for part C since the whole unit is fitted with that awful PVC pipe. 🤯 At least I lost a pound this week. but it may be trickier eating when I am in temporary housing.
