Six years ago I decided to give my best shot to losing weight. I was 257lbs and I could really feel it. I had always been a bit overweight, but after quitting smoking in 2013, the pounds gathered quickly. Healthy eating and exercise got it done. I ran my first 5km run in May 2016, half-marathon in Sept 2016 and a full marathon in May 2019. I still run regularly to keep fit and I have managed to keep the weight off. I give full credit to the Fatsecret community and resources helping me along this continuing journey.
