14,636 steps (includes ice skating) on Saturday, 10,118 steps on Sunday.
Give my body a few days to recoup from my ice rink crash, then back to the gym after Christmas. I'm actually doing much better than I expected.
Didn't track food, had the triplets for the 2 days and was bad about measuring. Christmas eve and day may be the same. Then back to being good. Still of course not going overboard, I did have a bowl of ice cream with the kids Saturday night but refused to make brownies, too tempting to eat more than one.
Trip to the dollar store today for wrapping paper, bags, etc. Today and tomorrow is get ready to leave on Wednesday. Still have to wrap gifts, clean some after the kids and catch up the weekend laundry.
Dinner will be the Belgium stew I cooked the beans for yesterday but didn't finish it. Trying a beef, onion and beer stew substituting adzuki beans for the beef. I've made it many times with beef.
I also need to get a chicken in the slow cooker, taking a buffalo wing chicken dip to work on Friday. My crazy team decided to have a food day the day after Christmas. I won't have time Christmas day to cook as won't get home until late. This I can mostly do ahead.
Off to get ready for work.

Crash? Oh my. I was on the verge of giving it a try until I read that. You are amazing with your activity and cooking and all ~ have a wonderful Christmas. Interesting dinner 'after' --- I wonder how many will bring left overs?

WFN, I am sorry to read about your crash; however I am glad you will be alright. You sound like a person who is quick to think on your feet literally and figuratively. Grandkids are the best! It sound's like they keep you young. Enjoy your day. Truly, J.J.

We had fun skating. Now @65 I've learned you don't crash as easily as you DD when you are 13 :)):))).

Don't have my skate legs , need some practice!! Skating twice in 20 years, a bit rusty to say the least LOL!! I used to ice skate a lot. Lost my balance and ended up on my butt, put my hand down to slow the fall. May have to spend some afternoons re-learning how. Wish we had a few days off from work, at least an early out on Wednesday and Christmas day. Stew took longer to cook than I remembered so ate something else while it cooked. Samples tasted good, easy dinner for tonight as I fell asleep on the couch and didn't get much done.
