Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and that you enjoy your time with friends or family.

Our thoughts will often be with our tiny new family member in Children's Mercy hospital fighting RSV. Great granddaughter born Nov 1. We are hoping she improves enough to go home in a few days. Mama is with her 24/7 and they are discouraging any other visitors at this point, especially with flu abounding here.

All of you, my friends here, and your families please stay safe and well. Follow your plan mindfully but enjoy the specialness of the holiday, which ever one you celebrate. That may be Christmas, Hanukah, the solstice, or others I don't know about.

Honestly, I'm not going to attempt to keep track this week. :)):)):)) I did last year though, I was not on maintenance then.

Thanks everyone, wishing all of you a safe and Merry Christmas. Safe is there because of all the insane drivers I saw last night. My Christmas, good so far. An enjoyable though interrupted evening with one daughter's family. Daughter had to take her Dad to the ER for stitches as he fell and cut his head (we think from a seizure that he never remembers). He showed up at her house unexpectedly, we thought he was going to my youngest's. Drive 2+ hours to my oldest's. Was so glad to get out of the insanity traffic around and north of the city. Was down here in the woods by 11. Helping DD wrap the the of the presents. Sure a different Christmas morning sitting here with just the dogs at nearly 9am than it was when the kids were little. GD is 15 likes to sleep late and GS is out of state he's 25. Sun first in 2 weeks is burning off the frost, supposed to be 50 today. Beautiful morning!! Baby Cheylynn is doing a little better. She is eating again so they took the IV out yesterday and have not had to restart it. She is still on the oxygen but have turned it down a little. Baby steps toward healthy.
